FERNANDO in Ice Factory 2017
I am very delighted to say my play Fernando is in this year's Ice Factory Festival at the New Ohio Theatre in NYC. Jamie Richards directs with these brilliant actors: Vivia Font, Christian Durso, and Chris Ceraso. We open the festival on 6/28 through 7/1. The festival itself runs until 8/12. It is the coolest summer festival in New York and everyone agrees. So come!

Abingdon Theatre, First Read Series, THE OTHER GENIUS, by Steven Haworth
The Abingdon Theatre, one of New York's premier Off-Broadway theaters dedicated to producing only new work, hosted a reading of my newest play "The Other Genius" on January 29. Thank you first of all to Jan Buttram and Kim Sharp for picking the play for their First Read series, and their long lasting support. Thanks to Jamie Richards who directed brilliantly and made a play with a lot of moving parts very clear. And to Jonathan Silver,Julie Fitzpatrick, Chris Ceraso, Doug Hussein Rossi, Anne Marie Howard, and Marla Yost, thank you for your hilarious and incredibly precise performances. Everyone had a great time, especially me, and I am grateful.
Voice work for The Millionaires' Unit documentary
I had a wonderful time doing voiceover work for the documentary film The Millionaires; Unit, about the beginning of US Naval aviation in World War I. Bruce Dern is lead narrator, it's a beautiful film with an incredible story to tell, directed by Darroch Greer and Ron King, and should premier in the next month or so. Check out the website here.
